This Train is Bound For Glory
Let's take a musical interlude from the usual politics/religion/pissing and moaning and enjoy some foot stomping music.
I'll start it out with ''This Train is Bound For Glory'' followed by "I'm on my way to Canaan's land''.
Add some foot stomping music of your own.

It turns out that this is Frank “Sugar Chile” Robinson (b. 1938) a little-known boogie-woogie pianist who was only 8 when he appeared in No Leave, No Love . He was dubbed a prodigy at an early age, which earned him the opportunity to perform with legends such as Lionel Hampton and Count Basie. He left show business at the age of 14 to pursue his education, an intriguing choice given his talent and popularity. He went on to earn a PhD in psychology. He is still alive, resides in Detroit, and

The song featured in this supposed Little Richard video–“Caldonia”–was first recorded by the esteemed Louis Jordan in 1945. It is about a girl with “big feet” who is “long, lean, and lanky,” thereby not conforming to expected standards of beauty.
"Big Feet' reminds me of another song actually called "Your Feets Too Big" -- here 's a recording of The Inkspots:
(Some time ago I discovered The Inkspots and bought one of their albums. I just googled Your Feets Too Big-- info is HERE)
OMG, I'm old enough to remember the original ''Ink Spots''.
Wow, that's old! By any chance did you vote for Abraham Lincoln in the presidential election?
Or-- somewhat later in time-- did you ever watch "Soul Train" on TV?

Howdy Pard! I do hope all is well and mighty fine in your realm.
Been skating the dark edges of the american rodeo of mediocrity and madness myself. Waiting for an authority figure to tell the morons a new improved Einsatzgruppen is necessary to win.
Music is the balm on the burn. The toot in the sweet. The hip in the hop.
It might be one of our only redeeming qualities as a species. I appreciate any mention or love for the same.
All is good in my realm Tex.
I agree music seems to be one of only a few things worth commenting on.

Good find Buzz....
Excellent! I always found that tune to be inspiring...
Interesting mix of ethnicities in the video. And while its a patriotic American song, its performed by Canadians-- and posted on a Chinese website.
(Very cool!
P.S. BTW, The first site you linked to ("Toudou") loaded very, very slowly for me. But the second site ("Bili bili") loaded very quickly.
There is some history and importance to this video. The history is back in 2001 the singer in this video was diagnosed with throat cancer. His name is Chuck Billy and he normally sings for the thrash band Testament. A benefit show (Thrash of the Titans) was put together to help him and another musician, Chuck Shuldiner from the death metal band death (also diagnosed with cancer), help alleviate medical expenses. Unfortunately Chuck Shuldiner passed away that December of cance but Chuck Billy beat it and continues to perform.
The importance is that thrash metal band Vio-lence put aside differences that caused their break up and performed at Thrash of the Titans. Now fast forward to 2017 / 2018. Sean Killian, singer for Vio-lence, needed a liver transplant. His brother is the donor and a benefit show is put together. Among the metal bands participating in this show is Testament. Chuck Billy, the recipient mentioned earlier, is in the below video singing Vio-lence song "Torture Tactics" to help Sean Killian's family pay the medical expenses.
While I know not many like this style of music, that isn't what's important. What's important is they come from all over the country for one person. And Chuck Billy was able to do for somebody something that was done for him.
Great story and video Jeremy...Thanks.
Yeah he's Pomo from up Clear Lake way...Good man.
Just for you BF....A couple of Shinob cousins of mine.
